Graduate Education Scholarships

 

Graduate Scholarships

Supporting American and Australian individuals undertaking or planning to undertake full-time Graduate level study (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research) at an accredited institution in the country of the other, for a minimum of one year in the specialty fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Health, Medicine and Sustainability.

David Nason Journalism Scholarships

David Nason was an Australian news, print and TV journalist covering stories as varied as sports, politics and war time coverage. In his honor, the Nason family created the David Nason Journalism Scholarship in partnership with the AAA.

AAA – Aurora Indigenous Education Scholarship

This scholarships will support two Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander individuals undertaking or planning to undertake full-time Graduate level study (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research) in any disciplinary field, at an accredited educational institution in the US.

 

Veterans Scholarships

 

Undergraduate Scholarships

Supports American and Australian veterans to study in any disciplinary field, in the country of the other.

Graduate Scholarships

Will support post 9/11 military veterans’ undertaking or planning to undertake full-time Graduate level study (Masters, Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Research) in the Australia to USA direction and USA to Australia direction.

Indigenous Scholarship

Will support Native American, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander post 9/11 military veterans, to undertake a minimum of one-year full-time study in each other’s countries respectively.

 

Arts Scholarships and Grants

 

Arts Fund Grants

Supports emerging or early career artists pursuing or planning to pursue artistic development in the Australia to USA and USA to Australia direction. These Grants will provide support of up to US $5,000 to artists in the fields of theatre, film, television, dance, music, visual arts, design, literature, photography and fashion.

Indigenous Scholarship

Provides support of up to US $10,000 to emerging Native American, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander artists to study or undertake artistic development in each other’s countries respectively.
